FEES AND PAYMENT

Playing premier club soccer is more expensive than recreational programs. Timbers-Thorns North FC’s fees are very competitive with other local premier clubs and we offer a monthly payment plan. Below is a breakdown of the costs associated with playing soccer for Timbers-Thorns North FC.

  • 2023-2024 Club Fees:

    • Are for a full yearAugust 1, 2023 to July 31, 2024, even if players decide to play in the fall or spring only.

    • Registration fees cover the following expenses: coach stipends, association, state, league and scheduling fees, player registration for IYSA and US Club Soccer, facility maintenance, insurance, administrative costs, referees, outdoor grass field rentals, and winter indoor turf rentals.

    • Other expenditures incurred other than those covered by the Club Fees are determined by each individual team and are the financial responsibility of the team and the players (see Team Dues).

  • Payment Options: Club fees can be paid by credit or debit card. A payment plan of five equal payments is available. The non-refundable $25 tryout fee  will be charged at the time of registration and payments will begin on the 15th of every month for the following 5 months.

  • Team Placement Announcements: An email announcing team placement will be sent to the players email address you provide when registering in GotSport, no later than 11:59pm PST, Friday, May 26, 2023 for birth years 2005-2011 & no later than 11:59pm PST, Sunday, June 11, 2023 for birth years 2012-2016.  To ACCEPT your spot, you will be required to complete the club registration and select a payment plan option with the link provided in the email no later than 11:59am PST, SUNDAY, May 28, 2023 for birth years 2005-2011 & no later than 11:59pm PST, WEDNESDAY, June 14, 2023 for birth years 2012-2016.  Players not accepting their spot by this deadline will not be placed on a team.

  • Team Dues: This amount is calculated by the team manager and treasurer and covers the cost of the team entering tournaments, team travel expenses, coach travel and turf field rentals. This amount depends on the level and age of the and age of the team (the “Red” teams and older teams travel more and enter more expensive tournaments/events so their team dues are higher). Team dues will be discussed in detail at your first team meeting along with the payment schedule which will be spread out across the spring and fall seasons. Team Dues vary - typically under $100 for U8 teams and up to $700+ for the older teams.

  • Uniform Kits: Every even year, players are required to purchase a complete uniform kit that includes home and away jerseys, shorts, socks and training t’s; warm ups and backpacks are optional.  The uniform is the financial responsibility of the player. 2022 is a new kit year so all players will purchase the full kit. U8/U9 kits cost about $75; U10 and above will be approximately $200 for required items.

  • Fundraising: TTNFC has multiple fundraising events throughout the year. The revenues from these events offset club costs, provide funds for dues assistance (scholarships) and help maintain our field complex. Individual teams can offset their team dues by carrying out team fundraising. This is encouraged especially for teams that travel extensively.

  • Volunteer Hours: It is the expectation of the club that every family volunteers with a team position and HotShot tournament assignment. Unfulfilled hours will be billed back to the player’s family.
