Mission & Goal

To create a positive atmosphere for players to develop technical and tactical soccer skills and foster important life skills: sportsmanship, dedication, honesty, commitment, respect for self and others, confidence and a strong work ethic, as a leading youth organization and the preeminent soccer club in the area. 

 

TTNFC wants every child to have the opportunity to achieve all their soccer goals as a quality club player, high school varsity player, or college athlete.  We have the coaches and program to support their hard work and reach for their dreams!

 

 

History

Coeur d’Alene Sting was developed as a non-profit in 1985. It began with a group of parents who wanted to provide a positive atmosphere in which their children could learn and develop soccer skills.

 

In May 2016, Sting Premier Soccer Club became the second club in Idaho and the ninth in the Northwest invited to join the Adidas Portland Timbers Alliance and Sting Timbers FC was formed.

 

North Idaho Inferno F.C. was created in 2016 through a collaborative effort of 3 local area soccer clubs- Idaho Academy, Idaho Thunder and Rathdrum Nighthawks.

 

In May 2018, Sting and Inferno joined forces to become Timbers-Thorns North FC with 34 teams and 680 youth participating in U5-U19 age groups and developmental programs.
